My Reiki journey
Hi, I'm Sally Barton. I first heard about Reiki while exploring stress reduction techniques in 2007 and was immediately drawn to its gentle approach. After experiencing its loving energy firsthand, I decided to pursue my own attunement that same year and am now a certified Usui/Holy Fire Reiki III Master practitioner. I have also completed training in Quantum Cranial Sound Healing with John Beaulieu, and an introduction to Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at the Lyons Institute. It's a joy and privilege to share these gentle, profound healing modalities with others. I chose to call my practice Reiki Love Me, as saying it outloud already invites Reiki to you.
Listening to Your Body's Wisdom
My role is to support your body's natural ability to find balance and ease. I don't "fix" or "heal". Instead, I offer a calm, gentle presence that helps your system reconnect with its own deep wisdom and natural rhythm. Reiki and sound healing are supportive methods that can help balance your energy and reduce stress, allowing your body to stabilize and restore itself. I honor your unique journey and walk alongside you with respect and care.
What to Expect During a Session
Come to your appointment wearing loose, comfortable clothing. It’s also helpful to drink water and avoid caffeine for a few hours prior to the appointment.
We will start with a check in to understand any areas of focus or expectations for the session, you’ll then relax fully clothed on the massage table, with the option of a light blanket cover. The session starts with some gentle tones and vibrations from tuning forks, followed by a series of hand placements on or slightly above the body with additional tuning fork tones incorporated throughout the session as intuitively guided. Clients often experience deep relaxation and warm pleasant tingling sessions.
